Sports Dilemma feat. Luke Hughes

```
Breaking News: On January 04, 2026. Hurricanes vs. Devils. A Devils player made two goals. For the opposing team... Fans' initial reaction understandably perplexed. However, as the game goes, some of them keep throwing tantrum at him as if that's his intention when it's not the case, In fact, no pro athlete would thought so. Post-game, the team captain - who aren't planned to be interviewed at first - called out ugly behaviour made by the fans that night. Goalie also gave his own piece of word as a support.
Above incident happened to Luke Hughes days ago really taken me back to youngster years. While not being his big fan nor his team, I simply felt sympathy for him especially during the post-game interview. Being one of generational talents - yet not commonly acknowledged for his own prowess - likely added up pressure too. Homie had enough and needed encouragement pats. Yes, mistakes happens but what drives me to write this time is... the sheer difference between male and female fans' reaction regarding said incident. True, not all of them like that but the samples are large enough that it's hard to not notice overall patterns. Just saying.
You see, IRL never had I ever express interest in sports (except that one time me father heard me watching CFL but that's beside the point), particularly in my school years. Major factor is how intense the environment can be whenever male figures around me indulge with sports with communally watching them being absolute red zone. The concrete dissonance I feel within such situation really what keep me shut down any instance of interest in sports for so long. Granted I'm now able to watch them in pure joy, then having add-on commentary, sharing others' stuff, reading community feeds (forum), catching on news and so on. Sucks to not have at least one IRL friend to gush about them but perhaps it's for the best. I mean both gridiron football and ice hockey already niche where I'm from sooo oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
