Why I Blog Here and Still Keep Some Social Media at Bay

You know, me digging deep surveying for blogging sites such as Mataroa, WriteFreely, Write.as, Medium, Zonelets, Bear Blog, Wafrn, Amoeba.jp, etc. and discovering my relationship with writing styles where why I prefer scripting format for fanfics and enjoy essaying in blogging form somewhat made me learning something. That is there's little to no almost 1-to-1 alternative for Blogger as of now where you got a blogging site with intuitive CMS with option for very customizable blogskin/theme via HTML at minimum - since you still can put CSS and JavaScript in inline format and within <style> and <script> tags respectively.

And no, I won't blame any other blogging alt sites for being very simplistic since some people just wanna have their thought out without the need to decorate their blog much, and that's all fine and dandy. But yeah, just wondering if there'll be a site like Blogger out there, not going to have high hope though since blogging these days more suit for personal branding - in context of being main way for business marketing - rather than full corporation team.

That being said, I know it's very common that folks who own personal websites; especially with the rise of indieweb era tends to delete their social media for reasons. But for me, the case quite different as I keep it more like a 'key' when visiting a random page that just happen to be within of said social media since some sites gatekeep real hard of their non-private profiles or pages urgh. This tends to happen whenever I wanna search more info about music (artists, tours, new releases, events, etc.) and sometimes sports. Granted I'm not moved to drown back there permanently anymore, just quick visit then fade away~
